
Ongoing Professional Development is a core component of TNP's offering to members and, consequently, we encourage our members to participate in the programme as much as possible. Our 2011 programme encompasses:
SEASONAL SEMINARS
These seminars are held nationwide twice a year and focus on bringing relevant, practical business building knowledge to TNP members. The seminars last approximately 3 hours and are free to TNP members. Previous topics include:
TNP ACADEMY
The Academy is a specialised programme designed to provide business growth coaching to its members. Members participate in two master classes annually and work with their coach to develop a growth plan. Academy members work with their coach for a full year to help provide accountability; and, support them in achieving their goals.

TNP Sales School
The Sales School is a new development for 2011. It delivers two separate programmes for its members:
Initial Sales Training
A five day interactive programme designed to meet the training needs of Advisers with less than 12 months full time experience.
Intermediate Sales Training
A five day programme for Advisers with at least 3 years practical experience as an Adviser.
Sales Team Leaders Forum
Running a sales team requires very different skills and knowledge compared to that of an Adviser. These full day workshops are held twice a year in Auckland. The emphasis is on sharing knowledge with peers to help all participants become more proficient at running their organisations.
Annual Conference
The three-day conference is the professional development highlight of the year for many of our members. This year's conference is held in Rotorua and will provide Advisers with practical skills and knowledge to build a value-driven advice business in the regulated environment.
